Job Description

You'll need strong leadership qualities to direct crews to execute fabrication tasks when assigned. Communication is key; this person should be comfortable speaking with managers and order processors about the status of each job. Our crew members are committed to safety first. You will operate radial arm saws and nail guns as you construct prefabricated buildings, ensuring the perfect fit for our customers' needs. With your leadership expertise, you'll help managers by directing teams and giving advice on building strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety First
• Use a nail gun and operate radial arm saw to build columns and headers
• Cut large quantities of lumber with radial arm saw
• Direct work of crew members when they are assigned to help fabricate
• Assist Shipping/Receiving Coordinator with packaging materials, loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Communicate with Plant Manager and Order Processor as to the status of fabrication of each job

• Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with carpentry/construction tools (i.e. nail gun, saws, screw guns, drills, etc.)
• Proven ability to read tape measure to 1/16"
• Previous post-frame experience preferred
• Ability to operate both automatic and straight shift forklifts
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be willing to train with crew to learn Pro-Line building concepts
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Ability to read the English language
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others of varying skill levels

• Must be flexible and willing to adapt to many changes throughout a day
